- Sound Effects were scraped from OpenGameArt (cc0)
I dont know why Firefox starts the game in a seperate window (at least for me), but it changes the area you can see.

Firefox actually launches the game in a separate window. This doesn't stop you from playing. The concept sounds touching.
The main character, surprisingly, does not blend into the background. Enemies stand out well. In fact, advancement is only needed to raise improvement.
You can stand still the entire game. Because of this, buildings lose their meaning. Over time, there are a lot of enemies. At the same time, the spawn points are very easy to remember and see the materialization of enemies out of nowhere. I liked that you can delay them with the character's hit box, thereby slowing them down.
Thanks for the comment.
I know, the game still works, but you get to much vision through the seperated window as it increases the observable area. Normally your view is much more limited, making the upgrades more risky and making it harder to see the spawnpoints. Definitly something i would need to fix for the next jam.
I try to find better ways to hide or even elimate direct spawnpoints for the future, but my limited knowledge of Godot hindered me in using actual pathfinding or a waypoint like system.
The ability to block enemies was never planned, i just stumbled upon it and it worked surprisingly good so i kept it.
High score: 96. Great idea, art, and music!
