Instructions:

  • You can walk by using WASD
  • E and F are used to interact with Objects
  • If you pick up the Relic a Timer starts, you need to get out as fast as posssible. So it is advised to solve the puzzles beforehand.
  • There are some pieces of paper. Everything you should need is on them (Writing down important informations could be helpful)
  • The Translations is not 100% correct and sometimes i used easier cuneiform translations or narrowed them down to 1 or 2 symbols
  • currently there is no titlescreen, or restart button, or just Fade-in/Fade-out animations. If you get stuck you can press CTRL+Z to restart.
  • The puzzles are only fully active after you picked up the Relic. You cant solve them beforehand. But you should find out the solution anyways.


Unfortunately, the game is not nearly as finished or polished as I had hoped. Creating the assets and learning basic sumerian took much longer than expected.  The current 2 Puzzles are quite easy. The 3. that was planned needed to be left out as i ran out of time.

The assets and the background song were created during the Jam. I know these normally take a lot of time, but i still want to fiddle around with them and make them myself most of the times.


The core idea was to make a bare concept of something like this were people are forced to learn languages. For a different setting lets image your partner in crime sends you shopping in a foreign country. Now you need to find out the translations for english to german or italien to buy the right products.
